About:

Sarah Jones is one of Australia’s most respected sporting hosts, with over two decades of experience on FOX Sports. A trailblazer in the industry, she was the first female to host an AFL match and an AFL final on television, paving the way for women in sport broadcasting.

A lifelong football lover and granddaughter of Essendon legend Jack Jones, Sarah is a much-loved face on FOX Footy, hosting Thursday night football and blockbuster weekend games. Her broadcasting credits span The Ashes, Melbourne Cup, Commonwealth Games, the Vancouver Winter Olympics, and London Olympics coverage — which she counts among her career highlights. She has also hosted BBL and ICC Women’s T20 World Cup cricket, international netball, and marquee AFL events including finals, Anzac Day, and the AFL Hall of Fame.

Beyond the screen, Sarah is a sought-after MC for major corporate events and an ambassador for Kia and the Melbourne Vixens. She holds a journalism degree from RMIT and is passionate about books, sharing recommendations on her popular #SarahJonesBookDiary on Instagram and TikTok. Sarah grew up in Echuca, before moving to Melbourne to pursue her broadcasting career.
