Jock Serong
About:
Jock Serong is one of Australia’s finest crime and historical fiction writers. Ned Kelly Award winner and author of Quota, The Rules of Backyard Cricket, The Burning Island and more, his novels are defined by a deep sense of place and moral complexity.
Based on the far southwest coast of Victoria, Jock is a Writers Victoria mentor, and an integral member of the Victorian writing community. We are delighted to have him lead our Creative Writing Workshop on Friday, thanks to Writers Victoria, and for him to share some of his most beloved works of fiction and non-fiction.
Jock also joins our Crime and Place author panel on Saturday.
